Offenbarung
OAKE
Debut EP. A haunted, slow-motion industrial hypnotic released on Downwards Records.

The Beginning
Offenbarung (Revelation) marked the initial transmission from the OAKE project. Released in 2013 on Downwards Records—the legendary industrial techno imprint founded by Regis—this EP established the duo's signature sound immediately: a collision of doom, post-punk atmospherics, and techno structures.
Hardwax described it as an "Excellent, Industrial & Techno leaning leftfield Electronic EP."
The Atmosphere
Unlike standard techno tools, Offenbarung moves with a funereal, hypnotic pace. It is "haunted in slow motion," prioritizing dread and texture over tempo. The record captures a specific moment where the boundaries between noise, drone, and club music began to dissolve completely.
Superb record, in absolute dire need of a repress. — Discogs User

Legacy
As the debut release (DN55), this record laid the groundwork for the LP Auferstehung that would follow two years later, introducing the visual identity (Jan Grebenstein) and the cryptic linguistic themes that define the project.
