High-Conversion Hiring Funnel
Solving the skilled labor shortage with UX. A friction-free application funnel that outperformed €10k agency campaigns.

The Problem
The German physiotherapy market is in a labor crisis. My client (my mom's practice) was quoted €10,000+ by agencies for "social recruiting campaigns" that offered no guarantees. Standard job postings failed because they required PDFs and Cover Letters, friction that mobile-first candidates won't tolerate.
Task
We needed to hire a qualified therapist quickly, with a total budget of under €500.
The Strategy
I treated hiring as a Conversion Rate Optimization problem by building a complete hiring funnel from scratch:
- Removing Barriers: I scrapped the CV requirement. I built a "60-Second Application" that asks only for critical certifications (MLD/MT) and contact info.
- Automation: I connected the form to a Google Sheets API. Every applicant instantly populates a shared spreadsheet ("Mini CRM"), allowing the practice owner to call candidates within minutes of submission.
- Distribution: We used the budget for targeted listings on niche job boards, directing traffic solely to this high-speed funnel.
The Result
Within two months, we hired a new therapist. Applications are still coming in.
Cost: ~€500 for job board listings.
Agency alternative: €10,000+ with no guaranteed hires.
The system is still live. The database grows. And when my mom needs to hire again, the infrastructure is already there.
