Corrosive Textures

Released in December 2013, Vollstreckung (Enforcement) served as the bridge between the debut EP and the subsequent LP. Pressed on clear transparent vinyl, it refined the OAKE sound: decimating percussion, haunting vocals, and a "striking technique for applying corrosive textures."

The Aesthetics

While Jan Grebenstein defined the visual identity for most OAKE releases, this EP features artwork by the renowned Italian painter Nicola Samorì, known for his physical manipulation of classical painted surfaces. This visual darkness mirrors the sonic content—a mix of dark ambient and eidolic techno.

A striking technique for applying corrosive textures... dark and eidolic techno. — Bandcamp
